A slinky like seat made out of cardboard called FlexibleLove. I used to love playing with a slinky and I love chairs and now there is a company that incorporates both, FlexibleLove Furniture. According to their site FlexibleLove™ furniture incorporates an ‘accordion-like, honeycomb’ structure to create durable furniture pieces produced from widely-available recycled materials.

Interesting Marketing Experiment by Blu Dot

Ever wondered who picks up furniture from the street? Furniture design company Blu Dot came up with a ‘real good’ experiment to find out. The company left 25 of its ‘Real Good’ Metal chairs around New York City last month. Hoping ofcourse that New Yorkers would pick up the chair and take it home with them.

Incredibly creative Social Media campaign on Facebook by IKEA

I came across this very cool use of Facebook by IKEA. So cool, yet so simple. What IKEA did was the following.
1. Open a new store (Malmo, Sweden)
2. Create a Facebook profile page for the store manager Gordon Gustavsson.
3. Upload images from the IKEA showrooms
4. Tell everybody that the first person to tag their name to a product in the pictures wins the product!

Google New York office has scooters, slides and more!

In Google’s New York office there is room for both work and play! Everybody knows that Google has fun offices, I knew, but I’ve never seen the one in New York before. Last week Business Insider visited the New York office and took some photos. The photos made me go tjongolongo! They’ve got lounge chairs, graffiti on the walls, Lego, retro game computers, the ultimate snack machine and more!
